Frequently asked questions

How many people will be on each cohort?


There will be between 8 and 12 people. These peers are important part of the experience as they will bring their experience and connections. As a group you will inspire, challenge and support each other.




How much does it cost?


The first programme will be run at an introductory price of £999 for 12 weeks. This includes 12 x live 1.5 hour online sessions covering 9 modules,6 x 1:1 coaching sessions with Janine, weekly facilitated team coaching and access to a supported network of peers and experts.




Can I apply if I am outside the UK?


At the moment, Jump Start is only for people in the UK.




How do I apply to take part?

What kind of people are on the programme?


This is a pilot so we are really interested in having a diverse group of people. That way everyone will benefits from different experiences and skills. We anticipate that there will be people from corporate positions who want the freedom of creating something of their own, people from




I don't have an idea for a business yet, can I still join?


Absolutely. The first part of the programme is designed to help you reflect on what type of business you want and what social problem you want to tackle. Even if you have an business idea, it will give you a chance to stand back and reflect.




What is the time committment?


There is a minimum of 4 hours required each week but if you want to have the most benefit, we recommend that you commit 8 hours a week.




Can I still do this and work?


Totally. We know that starting your own business is a big commitment and you might want to test your idea before leaving your job or even have a side hussle.




What if I miss a session?


We would love everyone to attend each session but know that this isn't possible. So we will record each session.




Is this online or offline?


This pilot will be online but in the future we want to have a combination.




Can 2 of us join as Co-Founders?


Yes. Co-founding a business is a great way to start a business. This would be a joint price of £1500.
