Hi, I'm Janine Chandler - the Chief Puddle Jumper.

 

I have many, many years experience (30 years to be exact) as a client in both large organisations and start ups and as a consultant. I've done everything from creating new soft drinks, beers and biscuits to helping people with dementia have healthy sexual relationships or reducing waiting times in the NHS! In the last 2 years my passion has been to support social impact entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs.

I have a crack team of brilliant consultants and experts with shared values and experience who I bring on board when required. 

So what's with the name? Whilst taking my dog, Woof, on a muddy walk, I was reminded of my inspirational friend Jo. Before she died of bowel cancer, her last message to me was to keep jumping in puddles. Life is too short not to live it with joy and to grasp every opportunity and it felt apt for this new adventure.

Ironically despite all my extensive marketing career, when it comes to market myself, I squirm. But if you don't know me and want to know a little of what I have done, I've listed some achievements below. 🥴

  • Developed J2O as leading adult soft drink, resulting in over £5bn sales

  • Active Fellow at RSA for almost 20 years

  • Won Cannes Lions Gold for Tango Advertising campaign 2003

  • As Brand Controller of Robinsons moved from No 11 to No 8 Grocery brand

  • As BBC's Head of Brand Strategy developed brand architecture for iPlayer launch

  • As Strategic Consultant at COI developed comms campaign for reducing NHS waiting times from 50 to 18 weeks and the launch of the NHS Constitution

  • Awarded Distinction in MBA from Hult Ashridge Business School in 2011

  • Created Dryathlon, which raised over £20m for Cancer Research UK

  • Won 4 Gold Direct Marketing Awards for Scope’s Mindful Monsters 2017

  • Won Global Service Design Award for Alzheimer’s Society’s Lift the Lid 2019

  • Judge 6 times at Hult Prize - the world’s largest college and university network for impact.

  • Fellow at Zinc.VC supporting new social ventures
